Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor in a high-volume ($10M+), upscale, full-scratch kitchen
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, prep organization, and team leadership
- Ability to execute and uphold standards in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
- Experience with French or European cuisine styles is highly valued
- Candidates must reside within one hour of Tampa (Orlando/Disney area, Sarasota acceptable)
- Culinary school training or a classical background is a plus
Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:
- Prior experience in high-end resort, hotel, or multi-unit chef roles (e.g., Disney)
- Professional demeanor, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to excellence
- Strong understanding of kitchen flow, production systems, and fine dining execution
