Job Description
We are seeking a W-2, part-time Licensed Counselor based in Florida to provide in-person counseling and staff clinical supervision. The counselor will serve mixed populations, including adults, couples, and families, with a gradually increasing caseload and the potential to transition into a full-time counseling and supervision position.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling to adults, couples, and families.
- Manage a gradually increasing client caseload.
- Provide staff clinical supervision.
- Develop and update treatment plans.
- Document client progress in an electronic health record.
- Conduct crisis assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain ethical and HIPAA-compliant practices.
- Provide services in person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in professional counseling.
- Experience with individual counseling, clinical supervision, treatment planning, and case management.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and clinical documentation.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
- Strong active listening and communication skills.
