Job Title: Program Manager – Mobile Surveillance Systems
Location: Utah
Travel: Up to 20% (domestic)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Program Manager with a solid technical background
(experience with camera systems, solar systems, or mechanical systems) to lead a cross-functional team to support new sales and client projects from initial quotation, deployment, and support. The
ideal candidate will balance strong project management capabilities with hands-on technical
acumen, be comfortable in customer-facing engagements, and effectively manage cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of program or project management experience, a degree in a
relevant field, and the ability to drive schedules, risks, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced,
technically rich environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end programs for mobile surveillance deployments, including customer
- quotations, system design handoffs, integration, field installation, testing, and
- commissioning, refurbishment planning and re-integration to fleet.
- Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, scopes, budgets, resource
- requirements, and risk registers; proactively identify and mitigate program risks.
- Manage cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, hardware, firmware, mechanical,
- supply chain, manufacturing, field services, sales, and customer success) to customer
- satisfaction as well as ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Manage customer contracts as received and contract change management as required.
- Serve as a backup customer-facing point of contact and primary contact for program
- status, requirements clarification, change management, and issue resolution; translate
- customer needs into actionable project plans.
- Define and track KPIs (schedule performance, cost performance, quality, risk exposure,
- and customer satisfaction); prepare and present executive-level program reviews.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships, including contracts, statements of work,
- performance metrics, and risk management.
- Support technical reviews (gating, design reviews, test plans) and ensure rigorous
- verification and validation processes.
- Lead post-deployment activities such as field handover, training, maintenance planning,
- and handoff to support teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards; drive continuous
- improvement initiatives.
- Travel up to 20% for on-site customer meetings, installations, or field assessments as
- required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field (e.g., Electrical
- Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or
- similar). Master’s degree a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of program or project management experience in technology,
- hardware, or systems integration environments.
- Technical Background: Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following
- domains:
- Camera systems (surveillance, imaging, or video analytics)
- Solar power systems (PV, battery management, power conditioning)
- Mechanical systems (enclosures, mounting systems, thermal management)
- Project Management: Strong ability to plan, schedule, track, and manage multiple
- projects simultaneously; experience with MS Project, Jira, or equivalent tools; solid
- Understanding of PMBOK or equivalent methodologies.
- Customer Facing: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in
- requirements gathering, proposal development, and executive-level presentations;
- comfortable in client-facing roles and managing expectations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of assembling and leading cross-functional teams,
- mentoring team members, and driving accountability.
- Quality & Compliance: Experience with design reviews, system verification/validation, risk
- management, and regulatory/compliance considerations.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile surveillance platforms or integrated security solutions.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring, edge computing, or cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of hardware-software integration, embedded systems, or field service
- operations.
- Experience with international customers or multi-site deployments.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or similar) or equivalent practical project
- management credentials.
