Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Black Belt Splicers for a project located in and around the Oregon City, OR area. This is a full time opportunity, with a pay rate of up to $27/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Work with conveyor belts in mining industry
• Ensure proper splicing of heavy gauge materials
• Apply vulcanizing techniques to secure the integrity of conveyor belts
• Safely lift & move large, heavy rolls of belt rubber using hoists & other equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Perform maintenance and necessary repairs on conveyor belts to ensure they mean operational & in optimal condition
• Other tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

• 2+ Years of Experience
• Must have specialized experience with heavy gauge belts used on conveyors
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Must have reliable transportation for traveling to different job sites
