Role Summary: This role oversees both the sales and operational sides of the business. The right candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue milestones, maintaining high profit margins, increasing customer transaction sizes, and managing team and shop operations.
Compensation Overview:
- Base Salary: $26-28/hr (~$58,240 annually)
- Bonus Potential: $15,000–$25,000 annually, tied to:
- Maintaining gross margins >= 64%
- Increasing average ticket size above $500 (goal $1,000+)
- Achieving monthly store sales above $45,000 (or future fixed expenses)
- Hitting growth milestones: $1M, $1.5M, $2M annual revenue

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Customer Development:
- Drive average ticket size > $500; create upsell and bundling strategies
- Build outbound sales strategies and repeat customer programs
- Maintain CRM and sales pipeline reporting
- Track and report average deal size, customer acquisition, and lead sources
Operations Management:
- Ensure job production is on time, within budget, and meets quality standards
- Monitor daily workflow, production tracking, and job status
- Manage vendor relations, supply ordering, and inventory controls
- Support in quoting and margin analysis for incoming jobs
Financial Targets & Margin Management:
- Maintain gross margin >= 64% (goal 70%)
- Collaborate with owner to review COGS, pricing, and order profitability
- Report monthly on margin health and propose improvements
Team Leadership:
- Manage and coach staff in both sales and production functions
- Conduct weekly team meetings and performance check-ins
- Enforce accountability, provide training, and drive team morale
Metrics & Reporting:
- Submit weekly reports: revenue, margin %, avg transaction size
- Identify performance gaps and lead corrective plans
- Recommend capital investments or staffing changes tied to growth
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, operations, or general management (print, apparel, promo preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Comfortable with small business dynamics: hands-on, self-motivated, scrappy
- Proficient with basic office tools and CRM/reporting platforms
Growth Path: This role has the potential to evolve into a multi-store leadership or Director of Operations position as the company grows.
