Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a school setting in Jackson, MI. This role involves assessing and addressing the psychological and educational needs of students to enhance their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide counseling and interventions to support student emotional and behavioral health.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Monitor and report on student outes, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, psychological testing, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
