How You’ll Add Value
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you’ll support a licensed plumber in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems across residential and commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll continue to grow your skills while contributing to high-quality, code-compliant plumbing work. You’ll report to the Master Plumber.

How You'll Get it Done

  • Embody and carry out Site Specific's core values: respect, trust, responsibility, humor, empathy, and excellence.
  • Follow all Site Specific Health & Safety protocols on every job site.
  • Assist in the installation of water supply lines, fixtures, drains, and venting systems.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools.
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of plumbing issues.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Work professionally and respectfully with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Participate in weekly safety Toolbox Talks and daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).

What You’re Bringing to the Table

  • 2+ years of plumbing experience in a construction setting (residential or commercial).
  • Familiarity with plumbing codes, materials, and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Licensure/Certification Requirements (prior to hire):

  • RI Apprentice Plumbing License (active or in progress)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10
