Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Estimator to join our team. This role acts as the subject matter expert on manufacturability, working closely with the Business Development and Sales Teams to develop accurate cost estimates, consult on product designs, and communicate technical project details to customers.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering for manufacturing environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create and present comprehensive project scopes and estimates.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturability & Product Consultation:

Review customer drawings and technical requirements to evaluate manufacturability and feasibility.

Provide expert guidance during initial sales calls and customer site visits.

Consult with customers and engineering teams throughout project discussions.
Estimating & Proposal Development:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and project scopes for customer submissions.

Assist with proposal compilation and submission alongside the Business Development team.

Draft and submit detailed scope letters to clients, outlining project details and pricing.
Technical Sales Support & Customer Engagement:

Support Business Development during the proposal process with technical expertise.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations to showcase product capabilities and solutions.

Recommend product enhancements to improve performance and cost-effectiveness.

Assist customers with product usage and provide problem-solving support.
Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
✔ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
✔ Prior experience developing cost estimates, project scopes, and proposals.
✔ Strong collaboration experience working with Sales and Business Development teams.
✔ Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data analysis and proposal creation.
