WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Coordinator (Bilingual Preferred English-Spanish) with experience in front desk, office administrative environment knowledge with a professional strong clerical and a positive attitude to be part of the team in our apartment community in the Hoover, AL area.
This position requires work onsite to assist the team on the property daily basis. The role involves supporting the office, residents and maintenance staff and providing both administrative and residential support.
Our goal, as the Resident Coordinator (Bilingual Preferred) will be to ensure that our property residents live in a clean and safe environment with the best customer service. You should ensure efficient assist on daily administrative operations and support the customer service objectives.
JOB PURPOSE:
As the Resident Coordinator (Bilingual Preferred) the responsibilities are extensive and varied, however, you will primarily be accountable for the overall residents administrative and clerical workload of a residential property and be part of the satisfaction of the tenant base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Collaborate and support the office staff with work orders, calls, and communication with prospects and residents.
- Manage tenant relations, guest services, and vendors management.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist the team in administrative tasks, as needed.
- Set up, maintain, and reconcile accounts weekly for the property.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, pay bills, handle banking tasks, and support the team on an administrative daily basis.
- Oversee and manage expense reports.
- Check rent collections and manage related financial tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years of experience in an administrative office, a must, ideally with small growing businesses.
- Fluent bilingual speaker English - Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data entry and financial analysis.
- Strong administrative and clerical skills with a detail-oriented and accurate approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, owning the scope of work and tasks.
- Comfort and experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
- Proficiency in using technology and software productivity tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
