We’re looking for a Production Supervisor – Assembly who brings both technical expertise and strong leadership to our growing Assembly team.
What You’ll Do
This is a working supervisor position. You’ll lead from the floor while actively participating in complex assembly operations.
You will:
- Perform and troubleshoot complex component, electrical, and final assemblies
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and bills of material
- Validate first-round builds and ensure quality compliance
- Lead daily production activities and prioritize workflow
- Mentor and develop assembly team members
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production Control to meet customer commitments
- Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor quality metrics (scrap, rework, SPC, efficiency) and lead corrective actions
- Maintain a clean, organized 5S environment
- Promote a strong safety culture
Requirements:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in assembly or fabrication (aerospace preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on complex assembly experience
- Strong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skills
- Experience with torque tools, measuring devices, pneumatic/hydraulic tools, cranes, and material handling equipment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis
- Strong ERP experience (Epicor a plus)
- Ability to lead in a regulated manufacturing environment
Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Medical, or other highly regulated industries is a strong plus. Why Join Us?
