Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer near Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement on current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency
- Define new product manufacturing tooling and assembly line process and integrate into existing production system
- Utilize Industrial Engineering tools for operations and layout analysis; including time studies, ergonomic assessments, and throughput improvement
- Provide technical direction to and oversight of suppliers during design and fabrication of new tooling
- Support installation, tryout, and debug of tooling and equipment at the assembly plant
- Support new vehicle build events and launch at assembly plant
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a process/manufacturing engineer
- Experience with tooling, assembly, both automation and manual processes
- Experience in the automotive industry - OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with medium level of autonomy and high accountability for results (may work under the direction of a more seasoned process engineer)
- Demonstrated ability in project management skills

This is a Permanent position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
