Position Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Crestwood, IL
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm (schedule may vary based on program needs)
Pay: 21.50/hour
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Requirements: CNA/HHA/STNA (state-specific), 2 years healthcare experience preferred, 1 year working with frail/elderly preferred, reliable transportation, up-to-date immunizations
Position Summary: Provide personal care and support for participants, assisting with ADLs, meals, activities, and maintaining a safe environment. Split time between center and homecare as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and ADLs
- Support daily and group activities, meal prep/service, and cleanup
- Report changes, and maintain accurate documentation
- Escort participants safely to appointments or activities
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality
Experience & Pre-Employment:
- 2 years hospital, nursing home, or community-based experience preferred
- CNA/HHA license as required per state
- Background check, drug screen, and immunizations required
