The individual will support the interconnection process for rooftop solar, particularly handling applications, managing the interconnection agreement signing, prioritizing tasks within engineering queues, and coordinating with internal engineering teams.

The role also includes communicating with customers, managing contract execution, and maintaining Microsoft spreadsheets for tracking.

The day starts by reviewing new application emails, verifying documentation for completeness, coordinating contracts, attending meetings with internal/external engineering groups, updating tracking spreadsheets, and responding to customer inquiries.

The work is shared with a project coordinator and includes both individual and collaborative tasks.

Support a team of 9 engineers and work closely with a project coordinator and various internal stakeholders, including external consultants involved in engineering reviews for Texas.

Working with primarily internal engineering teams, but also indirectly communicates with external customers via a centralized Outlook email address.

A collaborative environment, with shadowing and mentorship provided.

Will work closely with others and attend regular team meetings.

40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with 5-10 hours of approved overtime available if needed. Hours will be 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time. If located in Denver, working hours will begin at 7:00 AM Mountain Time.
Qualifications

College graduate with 0-5 years of professional experience

Open to no degree but with equivalent admin experience (2-3 years)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
