Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a dedicated Bilingual HR Coordinator to join their client's team in San Diego, CA. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle HR-related tasks, ensuring a smooth operation within the department. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and contributing to a positive employee experience.
Pay Rate: $26 to $28 per hour
Location: Full-time, onsite in San Diego, CA
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding paperwork, including data entry, reference checks, and compliance with I-9 documents.
- Assist with compiling timecard information for payroll processing.
- Arrange meetings, compile reports, compose letters/VOEs, and handle special projects as directed.
- Handle a high volume of inbound telephone calls and emails.
- Administer benefits and open enrollment processes.
- Support all onboarding functions to ensure a positive HR experience for employees.
- Address employee issues with a positive and supportive approach.
- Assist with internal and external job movements, including job postings and new hire packets.
- Update and maintain job descriptions and assist with employee relations tasks.
- Develop and implement HR best practices and direct FMLA, ADA, and disability workers' compensation inquiries.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
