Desired Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license
- Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or similar settings preferred
- Proficiency with trach and g-tube procedures required
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students, families, and school staff
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and following all school health protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to one student during school hours, addressing trach and g-tube needs
- Monitor and document the student’s health status and care throughout the day
- Respond promptly to healthcare emergencies with competence and composure
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic support plan
- Maintain accurate records, adhere to school policies, and ensure safe storage and administration of medications
