We have a variety of openings for Psychiatric Technicians in our Inpatient Program

Silver Hill Hospital is a private nonprofit psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, CT with 129 beds, which is accredited by the Joint Commission. Enjoy working at our beautiful 44 acre campus in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team structure.

Our Technicians provide exceptional care treating all patients with dignity and respect. In this job you will:

Function as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team that provides compassionate care.
Provide direct care and supervision of residents and establishes therapeutic relationships with patients.
Function as a role model for residents, demonstrating effective problem solving and decision-making skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Associate’s degree in a Behavioral Health field required.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or a Behavioral Health related field preferred.
Must have the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment where the total emphasis is on delivering optimum patient care.

Schedule:

Per Diem: Required at least 4 shifts per month
Shifts are on a 12 hour schedule, from 7:00am to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 7:00am
