Starting Point Clinic is looking to fill a position for a Full Time Counselor at our Opioid Treatment Program in Brooklyn Park, MD. We are a growing outpatient methadone/buprenorphine clinic that has been providing comprehensive care to Anne Arundel county for over 20 years. We provide compassionate and evidence based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those that we serve. Patient Care is at the heart of everything that we do.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 5:30am - 1:30pm

Responsibilities and Duties

• Intakes new clients completing bio psycho-social
• Formulates individualized treatment plans with clients
• Counsel clients, individually or in group sessions, to support them in their journey of overcoming addiction, adjusting to life, and making positive changes.
• Direct client service including individual, group, and/or family counseling
• Participates in individual/group supervision
• Attends treatment team and in-service training meeting
• Answer phones as needed

Education Requirements:

• Must hold at minimum a Trainee status or higher with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors, or hold a license with the Maryland Board of Social Work
• Accepting applications for Trainee, CSC-AD, CAC-AD
