A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in an educational setting during the 20262027 school year in Bonita Springs, FL. This role is essential in creating a safe and healthy learning environment by delivering professional nursing care throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct health screenings and monitor student health needs
- Maintain accurate and timely health records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to support student well-being
- Respond to health emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Experience in school or pediatric nursing settings is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children and youth
