Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician ($18-$25 per hour)
Location: Montgomery, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day
Pay Range: $18-$25 per hour

Position Overview:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and general upkeep of plant equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Inspect and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other equipment
Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely solutions to reduce downtime
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Assist with equipment installation and upgrades
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance

Requirements:

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation (preferred)
Welding and fabrication skills a plus
Ability to read and understand technical schematics and manuals
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varied conditions
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical diploma or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or related field
OSHA or safety training certification
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
