Job Summary: We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional interior painting jobs in a residential/commercial setting.
You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Regardless of Talent, you must be willing to learn company technique of painting.
- Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, sprayer etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
- Interact professionally with customers
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
- Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
- Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
- Experience in Skim Coating
- Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
Qualifications:
- OSHA 40-Hour Site Safety Training (SST)
- OSHA 4 Hour Scaffold
- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs. of equipment
- Able to work in and have transportation to Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, NYC
