📍 Location: Holy Rosary Healthcare – Miles City, Montana
🕒 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
📆 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5x8 Hour Day Shifts
📝 About the Role:
We're seeking two experienced Radiation Therapists to join the team at Holy Rosary in Miles City, MT. This position plays a critical role in the delivery of therapeutic radiation treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. You'll be part of a dedicated care team helping ensure optimal patient outcomes in a supportive rural hospital setting.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Administer therapeutic ionizing radiation in accordance with physician prescriptions
- Simulate and prep patients for treatment, including use of immobilization devices
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and possible side effects
- Verify and document treatment parameters, MU settings, cumulative doses, and billing details
- Perform treatment simulations, develop x-rays and port films, fabricate cerrobend blocks as needed
- Monitor and report any patient reactions or unusual events during treatment
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and supply stock within the treatment unit
- Accurately complete patient documentation, including daily notes and discharge summaries
- Support quality and safety initiatives, identifying process improvements
- Promote the values and mission of SCL Health in daily practice
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Certifications:
- ARRT (RT(T)) certification in Radiation Therapy
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- State license (if applicable – Montana license not required if no ARRT Radiography registration)
