Location: Greensboro, NC (On-site)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision and working in a team-oriented environment, the Silver Polisher carefully and accurately follows polishing procedures to ensure that customers receive their purchases professionally buffed and polished. This role is key to maintaining our high standards for customer satisfaction. Must be aware of and follow all safety procedures.
What You'll Do:
- Read and verify manufacture name, pattern name, piece type, size, quantity and quality then handles errors per procedures.
- Follow all polishing procedures; selects and use the appropriate polishing compounds and tools required by the specific Grade Factors (GFs) to be polished.
- Polish correctly according to procedures; appropriately handle pieces that cannot be polished satisfactorily.
- Report technical problems promptly to management.
- Accurately record time and production stats daily.
- Support the team by assisting with other department tasks as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Must demonstrate product knowledge as required by level of position.
- Must be able to operate specialized inventory computer systems.
- Must be able to independently structure and organize regular working activities.
- Must be able to follow detailed procedures and recognize detailed differences in product.
- Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be able to work in a pressured, high-volume work environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be familiar with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have organized work habits and be willing to maintain orderly and clean work area.
- Must follow all safety regulations.
- Standing, walking, bending, and stooping required – often for long periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally push, pull and climb ladders safely.
- Must be able to occasionally push and pull product carts safely.
- Must be able to regularly lift and move 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds on occasion.
- Should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent service to Replacements’ internal and external customers.
