We are seeking talented and motivated Sign Designers to join our growing team. ADA Sign Factory specializes in designing high-quality ADA-compliant interior signage. We are looking for individuals who bring creativity, accuracy, and a strong sense of organization to our fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Sign Designer is responsible for creating accurate, production-ready artwork for custom and standard ADA interior signs. This role requires strong design skills, the ability to read and follow specifications, and effective communication with Production, and Customer Service teams. Designers must maintain an organized workflow, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy on all proofs and final files.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare ADA-compliant interior sign layouts using Adobe Illustrator and sign design programs (Vision experience preferred).
- Create clean, accurate, and production-ready files for lasers, UV printing, engraving, and fabrication.
- Review order information for accuracy before creating proofs.
- Communicate with Customer Service via email, Teams or phone regarding revisions, questions, or project clarification.
- Maintain clean, organized digital files and proper naming conventions within company folder systems.
- Keep work area clean and organized daily.
- Learn and follow all departmental SOPs and quality standards.
- Manage workload and plan tasks efficiently to meet customer timelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order flow and on-time Fabrication.
- Perform any other sign design functions as needed.
