Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized Inventory Clerk for a contract position lasting approximately 6-8 weeks in Warren, Ohio. This role involves managing and verifying bar-coded inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, invoicing, and documentation. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Verify and manage bar-coded inventory to ensure accurate tracking and invoicing.
• Inspect incoming shipments to confirm they match system records and shipping documentation.
• Reconcile inventory against Bills of Lading and related documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Perform item counts and verify quantities received against listed amounts.
• Match product descriptions and labels to ensure proper identification and tracking.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory activities for reporting purposes.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure proper handling of inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Assist with additional inventory tasks as directed by management.• Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately match product information.
• Proficiency in reconciling inventory against Bills of Lading and related documentation.
• Familiarity with barcode systems and inventory tracking equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and invoicing processes is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting and moving items as required.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, for the duration of the contract.
