About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily shop and field operations. In this leadership role, you will serve as the bridge between technicians and management, driving high-quality service, process efficiency, and safety compliance. Your goal is to ensure all people, equipment, and processes are aligned to deliver outstanding operational results.
Key Responsibilities:Team & Workflow Leadership

Oversee day-to-day operations, monitor shop and equipment performance, and supervise personnel.

Assign work orders and verify completion by reviewing documentation and physical components.

Ensure smooth flow of tasks and provide necessary support to maximize productivity.
Planning & Process Guidance

Collaborate with the Operations Manager to establish daily and weekly goals.

Train and mentor technicians on systems, processes, and equipment; track and document progress.

Promote adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and performance standards.
Safety & Compliance

Conduct weekly safety meetings; document and distribute meeting records.

Enforce use of PPE and address safety hazards promptly.

Maintain compliance with company safety protocols and complete all assigned training on time.
Data, Reporting & Inventory

Ensure accurate and timely submission of operational data and reports to management.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with weekly cycle counts.

Maintain accurate logs of parts usage and spare inventory.
Logistics & Facility Management

Coordinate with delivery service providers to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.

Assign and perform shop cleaning tasks, promoting a safe and organized environment.

Assist with facility upkeep including general cleaning and seasonal maintenance.
Team Development & Communication

Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.

Support employee development through coaching, feedback, and training.

Communicate effectively across teams, departments, and leadership.
Required Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:
-
7+ years of experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.

3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Proven ability to train, manage, and support technical staff.

Skills:
-
Strong time management and task prioritization.
-
Leadership capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.

Proficient in computer applications and inventory systems.

Licenses & Certifications:
-
Valid Class C Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Ability to operate a forklift and other lifting equipment safely.

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally sit.

Frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and use of hands for tool/equipment handling.

Strong vision, hearing, and physical coordination required.
Work Environment:
-
Work is primarily based in a warehouse or shop environment, with occasional exposure to hot or cold weather.

Must be flexible with working hours, including possible overtime, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
