Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night Shift

• Hours: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

• Schedule: 5 days/week

• Weekly Hours: 35 hours

• Schedule Notes: Alternating weekends and holidays required

Compensation

• Local Weekly Pay: $2,325

• Travel Weekly Pay: $2,759.50

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures in an acute care setting. The technologist will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and comply with all regulatory and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures

• Operate and maintain MRI equipment following safety guidelines

• Adhere to departmental policies and regulatory requirements

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience

• At least 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care setting

• Experience working with MRI equipment

• Knowledge of GE MRI systems

Education

• Required: Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Certifications & Licensure

Required:

• NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License

• Current MRI certification/registration from one of the following:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)

Preferred:

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
