The Community Service Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations regarding individualized home support services. Community Services Manager will coordinate, communicate, and organize individuals/families needing services and the direct support professional team members. Additional responsibilities will include being available to answer calls and address concerns as they arise which may include, but not limited to scheduled changes, scheduling coverage and filling in for direct support professional as needed. Manager will work closely with Community Support Coordinators, team members, individuals and their family as well as case managers. Hours are mainly weekday hours 8-4pm, with potential to fill in for call in's and rotating weekend coverage for phone coverage. Completing 245D paperwork.
Must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well with adults with disabilities
Able and knowledgeable to cope with emergency situations
Must be able to perform DSP duties as necessary
1 year of related/ relevant experience in the field or in a supervisory position
Successful completion of all Peace of Mind trainings and compliance with Peace of Mind policies and procedures
Reliable phone communication for on- call purposes
Requirements:
