In this role, you will deliver professional nursing care to patients within our medical practice, supporting and following the directives of the physicians. You will assist in patient treatment and manage associated clinical documentation. Role Summary:
As a nursing professional, you will provide care to patients in our medical practice, assisting physicians in treatment and completing necessary clinical paperwork. You will integrate our core values into your work ethic, demonstrating compassion for the sick and respect for each individual's dignity. A friendly, personal, and professional approach is expected in all communications with patients, families, visitors, and staff. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program. Familiarity with nursing principles, care procedures, examination techniques, and treatment protocols is essential. Understanding of medications, their effects, patient education, and safety practices is also required.
- Licensure: A valid state nursing license is mandatory.
- Certifications: CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Certification as a Diabetic Nurse Educator (DNE) is preferred. Proficiency in assisting with various medical treatments and procedures is necessary. The ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies is crucial. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with patients, staff, and the public are essential. Basic computer skills or the willingness to learn is required for accessing information and entering clinical data.
- Equipment Used: Ability to operate equipment relevant to the clinic's specialty is required.
