Behavior Technician (BT)
Join Imagination ABA Therapy, a BCBA-owned and operated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and individualized services to children and families.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT or RBT) to join our team in Howell Township, New Jersey, USA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs using evidence-based ABA practices.
About the Role:

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work closely with our team of board-certified behavior analysts and other professionals to deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to clients.

Your responsibilities will include implementing behavioral skills training plans, monitoring client progress, and providing feedback and support to families and colleagues.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:

Implement behavioral skills training plans, including skills training, reinforcement, and data collection.

Monitor client progress and provide feedback to families and colleagues.

Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and develop treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions, including data collection and progress notes.

Collaborate with other professionals, including board-certified behavior analysts, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:

RBT certification preferred but not required

Per Diem schedule (variable hours, including evenings and weekends)

Ability to work effectively with children and families, and communicate effectively with staff and families

Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices

Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
