Location: Dallas, TX 75234
Salary: $155,000 - $180,000 + 15% Bonus + $1,000/month Vehicle Allowance + Fuel Card + Relocation $$
Founded in 1989 we are a 500+ employee general contracting & construction management company that does about $1 billion annually and growing. The bulk of our work in the commercial construction sector comes from public schools, airport work, wastewater treatment, medical office buildings, industrial warehouses and mixed use projects. We have multiple active projects in the greater DFW area & a robust backlog ranging from $25M to $300M so we're seeking to hire a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex, ground-up builds. This role will oversee all aspects of site execution from safety & scheduling to subcontractor coordination & team development to help ensure projects are delivered on time & within budget.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead all on-site construction activities ensuring safety, quality & schedule adherence across multi-phase commercial projects
- Develop & maintain site logistics plans, CPM schedules & two-week lookaheads to drive field execution
- Coordinate daily w/ subcontractors, vendors & project managers to resolve issues
- Monitor labor, cost & progress reports to proactively manage budget alignment & mitigate risk
- Foster a high-performance team culture through onboarding, mentorship & performance coaching
What You Need for this Position
- 6+ years as a Superintendent managing ground-up commercial projects valued $25M+ (ideally multi-year builds)
- 5+ years in the commercial construction industry w/ proven success in vertical construction
- Experience working for a commercial general contractor overseeing multiple trades & complex site logistics
- Strong command of CPM scheduling, safety compliance & subcontractor coordination
- Ability to lead teams w/ clarity, urgency & accountability while upholding company values
