Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care for a travel assignment in Eagle, ID. This position supports surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic, level 2 trauma center environment. The role demands precision, clinical expertise, and the ability to respond promptly during on-call duties.
Schedule / Hours:
- 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 5:15 PM
- Shift days consistent weekly but not consecutive
- Call responsibilities include 2-3 twelve-hour shifts every six weeks, covering weekends and holidays (7 AM7 PM or 7 PM7 AM)
- Up to one stay-late on-call shift per week (on-call 5:15 PM7:15 PM for 10-hour shifts, 7:15 PM9:15 PM for 12-hour shifts)
- 30-minute response time required for on-call situations
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals throughout procedures
- Maintain sterile field and manage OR equipment effectively
- Respond promptly during on-call shifts with readiness for emergent cases
- Document patient care comprehensively and thoroughly
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with Operating Room experience
- Ability to work designated shifts with required on-call availability
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- Commitment to patient-centered care in a trauma setting
