Job Description

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational programs and initiatives. This role ensures projects and operational activities are completed efficiently by managing schedules, communications, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.

The Program Coordinator works closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and leadership to maintain program effectiveness and support strategic goals in a fully remote environment.

This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program activities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Support planning and execution of projects, meetings, and events
  • Track program progress and maintain project documentation
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders
  • Manage communication between departments, vendors, and external partners
  • Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate logistics
  • Monitor budgets, invoices, and resource allocation as needed
  • Identify operational issues and assist with problem resolution
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with organizational procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in program coordination, project support, or administrative operations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects or stakeholders simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Jira
  • Experience with reporting and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom
  • Knowledge of Agile, project management, or operational workflows
  • Experience in nonprofit, education, healthcare, technology, or corporate environments
