Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Assembler. In this role, you’ll assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and assembly process equipment. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple areas, including mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope work, soldering, and finishing.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using tools and assembly process equipment.
- Cross-train in mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing areas.
- Use screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and hand soldering tools (depending on department).
- Apply adhesives and chemicals during assembly.
- Utilize computer workstations for record-keeping and testing.
- Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections.
- Lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, including microscopes, small screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.
- Experience with soldering and following work instructions and blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience with PCB or small part assembly.
Additional Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- JSTD certification highly preferred.

Work Environment
- Large production area with different lines supporting gas and flame detection sensors.
- Smocks and safety glasses provided (safety toe shoes not provided).
- Some areas may have a strong epoxy smell.
- Employees will be cross-trained and placed in departments that suit their skills and interests.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.00/hr.
