Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position invites a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a dynamic school setting in Holton, Kansas. The ideal candidate holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and has experience in school-based speech-language pathology, committed to supporting student communication and educational success.
Key qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working as an SLP in educational environments
- Knowledge of school-based speech therapy techniques and IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educators
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation according to school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
