Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist position is available at a school located in Greenacres, WA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with students and staff in an educational environment, applying psychological principles to support student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
- Support teachers and administrators with behavior management strategies
- Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and legal standards
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
