The Role: Bookkeeper
You'll be responsible for managing the full scope of bookkeeping functions for our commercial and multi-family development projects. From maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts to preparing monthly reports and supporting payroll, you'll be the person who ensures our financial data is reliable, organized, and ready for decision-making.

What You'll Actually Do
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
across multiple residential and multi-family development projects - Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
as needed to support cash flow management - Prepare monthly financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Track and report financial transactionswhile ensuring compliance with regulations
- Communicate professionally with vendors and clients
regarding invoices, payments, and inquiries when needed - Process expense reports and handle billing questions in a timely manner
- Stay ahead of financial deadlines to help keep operations running smoothly
- Work primarily in QuickBooks
to maintain all financial records and reporting - Support other bookkeeping tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks (you should be comfortable navigating the system and using it for daily tasks)
- Solid general bookkeeping experience including reconciliations, financial reporting, and transaction management
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic data analysis)
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear, professional communication skills for working with vendors and team members
Bonus Points
- Experience in real estate, construction, or property development accounting
- Familiarity with construction accounting software (Procore, Sage, Yardi, etc.)
- Experience managing financials across multiple projects at once
- Recent accounting graduates with strong QuickBooks experience are welcome to apply

Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
- Base Salary: $60,000-$70,000(depending on experience)
