Overview
We are seeking motivated, customer-focused Sales Associates to join our growing furniture store team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping customers, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire sales process—from initial greeting to product selection and final purchase. You will develop product knowledge to confidently recommend furniture solutions that meet customer needs while contributing to store sales goals and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture and home décor options
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and financing options
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build repeat business
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
- Handle customer questions, concerns, or issues with professionalism
- Work collaboratively with management and team members
Requirements
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING WEEKENDS
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and be coached
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Self-motivated with a desire to meet or exceed sales goals
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays as needed
- Comfortable standing, walking, and interacting with customers for extended periods
- Basic math and computer skills for processing transactions
