The Talent Acquisition Specialist at TERI plays a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to support our mission-driven programs. This position partners closely with hiring managers and community stakeholders to build strong candidate pipelines, deliver positive candidate experience, and ensure efficient, compliant hiring practices. From sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and training, the Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the full recruitment lifecycle while helping to shape strategies that bring in individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Your Role & Responsibilities –

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define key qualifications for open positions.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through networking, community outreach, and recruitment events.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure efficient, organized, and compliant hiring processes.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on recruitment activity, progress, and hiring metrics.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, clearances, and required documentation.
  • Support onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a positive and seamless candidate-to-employee experience.


Qualifications –

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruiting, Human Resources, or administrative support.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and technologies.


Pay –

$23.00 – 27.00 Hourly
