Glendale based company is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG welder
Primary Responsibilities
· Develop a work strategy for each project they are fabricating to be sure the portion of the project is completed within the estimated time and materials allocated.
· Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions throughout the fabrication process.
· Ability to properly weld steel and aluminum.
· Maintains cooperative working relationships with other staff members in all departments to assure the other departments have ample time to complete their part of the project on time.
· Read and understand work orders and production drawings.
· Properly log time in E2 for each project they are working on.
· Confirm the materials used on each project throughout the fabrication process.
· Properly read a tape measure.
· Maintain all equipment being used.
· Responsible for cleaning all areas used at the end of every work shift to maintain the company’s cleanliness standard.
· Ensure supplies are not wasted and product loss is kept at a minimum.
· Attends all safety meeting and completes all necessary training assigned by the safety manager.
