PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Goodwill's Welcome Center connects individuals and families to Goodwill programs and services through employment, education, reintegration, and other essential supportive services to establish and improve self-sufficiency.

Goodwill’s Welcome Center is the central point of contact for individuals and families who are trying to access Goodwill’s programs and services. We provide a safe and calming environment for individuals who are seeking assistance to come in and speak with the Welcome Center staff.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Intake and Outreach Coordinator leads day-to-day operations at the Goodwill Welcome Center and supports the Community Services department and division wide initiatives. The role supervises a team, owns performance, manages department data and reporting, oversees Welcome Center operations and, in partnership with the Director of Community Services, strategically enhances participant flow from outreach through intake into Goodwill programs and services. The Intake and Outreach Coordinator ensures policies and procedures align with best practices and helps the Community Services department communicate the mission, values and available services to participants and partners.

The Intake and Outreach Coordinator cultivates a healthy workplace and service environment by leading with cultural competence, encouraging continuous improvement, fostering teamwork, valuing relationships with all stakeholders (participants, staff and partner agencies), and driving service delivery to achieve measurable participant outcomes.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Drive quality customer service through staff training and routine monitoring, ensuring timely replies to customer inquiries in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with area partners, in conjunction with Outreach & Recruitment Specialists and other internal stakeholders, to grow additional referral networks.
  • Coordinate with interdepartmental staff to ensure intake functions comply with funding, agency, and accreditation requirements.
  • Complete weekly and monthly status reports to provide updates for the Director in compliance with funding, agency, and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with Director of Community Services on potential gaps, methods for improvement, and areas for growth within Goodwill’s outreach and intake functions.
  • Identify, prioritize, and support continuous improvement projects related to intake functions and service coordination.

External Hiring Range: $45,760.00 up to $47,590.40/year

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Travel Required: Yes, some local travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of experience required. OR
  • Associates degree AND 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of experience required.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.

Required Degree(s): Social services, human services, psychology, or a related field.

Required Experience:Experience working withindividuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles in a community services setting

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprints, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
