Job Description

We are representing a leader in the appliance industry, located in the Columbia, MD area who is hiring a Customer Support Specialist for their growing organization.


With multiple locations, a large distribution center, and a strong reputation for quality products and service, they are now expanding their high-end customer experience into the retail market.


The role would pay based on experience, and could range between $24 - $29/hour.


Position Overview


The Customer Care Specialist will be the main point of contact for clients, providing support, resolving issues, and coordinating service requests. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities


  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Schedule and coordinate Service Technicians by territory.
  • Track service cases, parts orders, and provide timely client updates.
  • Troubleshoot appliance issues and escalate as needed.
  • Communicate with manufacturers for concessions/exchanges.
  • Maintain product and warranty knowledge.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance client experience.


Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in service coordination, appliance, or related industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRMs, Google Workspace, and scheduling tools.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to thrive under pressure.
