Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support for students in a K-12 special education setting. Serving one school, you will work onsite in Aurora, CO, delivering direct services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role requires a professional ready to take over caseloads mid-year, ensuring continuity and compliance with IEP goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction and support to students in special education classrooms.
  • Develop, review, and update IEPs according to established schedules.
  • Manage case files and documentation, fulfilling case management duties as necessary.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.

Qualifications:

  • Colorado Special Education Certification.
  • SSP (Special Service Provider) Certification.
  • Experience working in special education settings, especially with mid-year case transitions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate records and meeting compliance standards.
