Were seeking a skilled Machinist with extensive experience in CNC and manual machining to join a precision manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC equipment and manual machining tools, including mills and lathes, to produce high-precision components.
- Work with materials such as aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to perform inspections and ensure part accuracy.
- Program CNC machines to produce components from scratch or modify existing programs to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in CNC operation and manual machining.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and GD&T for precise manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Experience in CNC programming, with the ability to write and edit programs.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
