Alumni Coordinator

Valley Hope has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team in the key role of Alumni Coordinator. This position will support our Nebraska market.

With facilities in O'Neill, NE and Omaha, NE. This position will be based out our residential facility in O'Neill, NE or our IOP in Omaha, NE, and will be expected to travel back and forth from both facilities at least 2 days per month.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • One (1) year of work experience with an emphasis on office administration or event planning/project management experience.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Acts as continuum specific liaison and resource for alumni, fostering long-term relationship with the organization.
  • Coordinates all activities related to facility-specific alumni and family support.
  • Maintains alumni database including family contacts.
  • Maintains and tracks important alumni sobriety data via documented wellness checks.
  • Collaborates with clinical staff to provide and maintain list of current, temporary sponsor options for discharging patients.
  • Meet with each patient group and patient prior to discharge, providing information and opportunity to join the Alumni Program.
  • Facilitate workshops to provide overview of alumni program and intro to community-based resources
  • Communicate and coordinate with local admission team for alumni readmissions
  • Assists with the coordination of Alumni Chapter meetings in various communities with large populations of alumni
  • Maintain data base of alumni volunteers who will to act as temporary sponsors, Chapter meeting ambassadors, panel discussion participants, event speakers etc.
  • Contributes content for CHESS eRecovery app and monitors local activity.
  • Creates and maintains list of alumni support services and resources
  • Attends treatment team meetings weekly to collaborate and support aftercare.
  • Attend Peer Support/Recovery Coach Training
  • Collaborates with Valley Hope Foundation and facility leadership in the coordination of fundraising activities and alumni development.
  • Collaborates and Communicates with Marketing and Business Development Department to generate admissions.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office setting with traditional hours, weekend and evening hours may be required.
  • Must be able to travel – estimated at 20-30% of the time.
