Position: Clinic Manager

Location: Lakewood Clinic

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, four 10-hour days

We have been treating adult and pediatric patients for nearly 53 years who suffer with allergies, asthma and immunology-related illnesses.

Position Purpose: These exempt, full-time positions are directly responsible for the comprehensive management of the Clinic; assures clinic is appropriately staffed with knowledgeable employees who focus on teamwork, efficiency, quality patient care and the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute professional nursing care, including teaching ability in order to assess, plan and implement patient care for the pediatric and adult population
  • Monitors patient flow and adjusts accordingly for staffing needs for multiple providers
  • Demonstrates knowledge of management and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates understanding of office policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Demonstrates accuracy in all details of all positions in the clinic; able to record and report properly
  • Actively promotes and participates in organizational committees
  • Participates in monthly organizational management meetings
  • To ensure management team is aligned with clinic goals, communicates with the Providers on a daily basis regarding needs of the clinic as well as having scheduled (through Outlook), weekly meetings with the Management Team (Physician, APP, CM and OAM) and sets monthly meetings with the staff (organizes, schedules, sets agenda, takes minutes, and tracks POA for said meetings) to make sure all communication is disseminated to the full team
  • Works with providers on scheduling needs
  • Coordinates staffing issues with the Directors of Clinic Operations, Professional Development and Human Resources
  • Continues personal and professional growth
  • Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and leadership; able to identify issues and execute needed changes when necessary
  • Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
  • Provides for staff development; identifies internal/external training needs
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter
  • Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
  • Maintains OSHA and HIPAA compliance

Prerequisites:

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Direct patient care experience
  3. Current Colorado License
  4. Minimum of five years of management experience
  5. Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
  6. Current CPR certification
