The Sign Palace Inc. is a full-service signage and graphics company based in Elk Grove Village, IL. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support both our financial processes and day-to-day office operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and being a key support person for a growing business. You’ll handle invoicing and bookkeeping tasks while also helping keep the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, send, and track customer estimates and invoices in QuickBooks
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up as needed
- Maintain organized customer records
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Answer phones and attend to customers coming through the front door
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications
- Maintain general office needs
- Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams as needed
- Participate in weekly shop cleaning
- Perform final quality control checks to ensure completed projects are consistent with job specifications
- Package and ship completed orders as necessary
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using QuickBooks (required)
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and discreet
- Prior experience in the signage, printing, or manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required

- No accounts payable (vendor bill processing)
- No recording of financial transactions in QuickBooks
