Panacea Eye Center is an upscale, fast-growing ophthalmology practice in Vero Beach seeking a
full-time Medical Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team. If you are professional, confident,
detail-oriented, and enjoy working with patients in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you

We are looking for someone who wants a long-term position and takes pride in delivering an
exceptional patient experience from the first point of contact.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Manage scheduling for office visits and procedures
- Coordinate incoming calls and front desk communication
- Verify insurance and assist with billing questions
- Collect copays and balances accurately
- Prepare and maintain patient charts and records
- Assist with consents and patient communication
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
- Support office flow and assist team members as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred
- Ophthalmology experience is a plus (will train the right candidate)
- Strong computer skills (AdvancedMD, Nextech, Gmail preferred)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, team-driven medical office
- Significant computer and phone use throughout the day
- Interaction with patients, staff, and insurance providers
- Must be comfortable handling sensitive medical information

Schedule
- Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Some flexibility based on office needs
