About Our Role:
The Sales Manager drives group and catering revenue through proactive prospecting, regional relationship building, and full-cycle sales execution from proposal to BEO.
Essential Functions:
- Generate new group and catering business through prospecting, cold calls, and site visits.
- Build relationships with local vendors and regional feeder markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle: proposals, contracts, and BEOs.
- Drive revenue through targeted outreach and market development.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hotel sales experience with a focus on groups, banquets, and catering.
- Established relationships with wedding planners, corporate travel planners, and regional partners preferred.
- Proficiency in Tripleseat and Opera; Marriott experience strongly preferred.
- Local market knowledge of Mendocino County and key feeder markets including the Bay Area, Napa/Sonoma, and Sacramento.
