LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking to hire an LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse.
- $29 to $32 per hour based on skills and experience
- Additional pay for shift diffs: $3 on evenings and $2 on nights.
- 12-hour and 8-hour shifts available.
LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program of Licensed Practical Nursing.
- PA LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- IV Therapy Certification required.
- One year of experience in the geriatric field preferred.
- Skills to work effectively with the unique needs of the age group served.
- CPR Certification preferred.
- Criminal background check required.
LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:
- Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action immediately.
- Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
