We're seeking a Manual and Surface Grind Operator to join our team in Cedar Springs, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to meet customers demands.What You'll Be DoingAs a Manual and Surface Grind Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

• Set up and operate manual surface and jig grinding machines to produce precision tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet tight tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, etc.) to verify part accuracy.
• Monitor and adjust machines to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on grinding equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• 3+ years of manual grinding experience (jig grinding experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of grinding principles, setups, and GD&T.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and fine surface finishes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with strong communication and a commitment to quality.
